The intelligent copilot
for car repair.

The AI product layer of MecaZone — by arsiweb.

MecaZone AI is a vehicle-conditioned, sourced-only AI platform that connects every car in France to the right mechanic, the right diagnosis, and the right price. Built on a live marketplace, layered with verified retrieval, grounded in manufacturer documentation and proprietary repair-outcome data.

We are turning a live, zero-commission marketplace into the operating system of independent car repair: AI-guided request triage, voice-activated mechanic copilot, vehicle-conditioned diagnostic agent, OBD-II telemetry, verified repair history, and a closed feedback loop that compounds with every job completed.

Three broken parties. One missing layer.

Independent car repair in France today is opaque, inefficient, and allergic to the AI tools currently flooding the market. Each side of the transaction is paying the cost.

01 / Drivers

Cannot trust the process

Quotes vary by 3x for the same job. No way to evaluate diagnoses. No way to know if a mechanic is competent for their specific car. Information asymmetry, by default.

02 / Mechanics

Lose hours to information lookup

Torque specs, wiring diagrams, TSBs, parts cross-references. The data exists in TecRMI, ETAI, Haynes Pro, but it is fragmented, expensive, and unsearchable while under a car with greasy hands.

03 / Generic AI

Plausible is not safe

ChatGPT and Gemini hallucinate torque values, mix up engine variants, give US-market answers for European cars, cite no sources, cannot be verified. In automotive, "plausible" can destroy an engine or kill a driver.

Recommendations are based on the vehicle, symptoms, repair context, and available technical information.

MecaZone AI is built on three structural advantages that compound over time and cannot be replicated by general-purpose AI providers, traditional repair-info databases, or competing marketplaces without an AI layer.

01

Closed feedback loop.

Every repair completed on the platform produces a structured outcome label: symptom, OBD codes, vehicle, diagnosis, parts, fix, success. After 10K jobs this dataset answers questions no manual ever could, and it belongs to MecaZone alone.

02

Vehicle-conditioned retrieval.

Every query is bound to a VIN-decoded context: make, model, engine code, year, market, equipment level. Generic answers are filtered out before they reach the user. ChatGPT does not know your car. We do.

03

Fulfillment in one app.

Information without action is a website. The MecaZone AI says "this is likely the EGR valve, here are 4 mechanics within 8 km, median cost 380 EUR, request a quote in one tap." That last step is what nobody else can do.

Core operating principle
MecaZone guides the repair process by explaining problems, suggesting possible solutions, and helping users make informed decisions.

The moat compounds with every job.

Every repair completed on MecaZone produces a structured outcome label, captured in under 15 seconds at the end of the job. The label binds the original symptom, the OBD codes, the vehicle context, the actual diagnosis confirmed by the mechanic, the parts replaced, and a follow-up confirmation from the driver after 7 days.

This dataset becomes the platform's primary structural moat. After 10,000 jobs, it answers questions no manual ever could: on this engine, at this mileage, presenting this symptom, what was actually found in the bay?

It is irreplaceable. It belongs to MecaZone alone. It is the reason a general-purpose AI provider cannot displace this product, regardless of model improvements.

Four phases. Labeling ships first.

The data flywheel must start before any AI feature is launched. Phase 0 ships outcome labeling first; everything downstream feeds on it.

PHASE 0 M0 → M6

Foundation

  • Outcome labeling system
  • Driver request triage AI
  • OBD-II code interpreter
  • Quote evaluator
  • Trust tier system in UI
PHASE 1 M6 → M12

Mechanic copilot

  • Voice-activated co-pilot
  • Vehicle-conditioned RAG
  • Diagnostic agent
  • One-click quote drafting
  • Pro subscription launch
PHASE 2 M12 → M24

Telemetry and prediction

  • OBD-II Bluetooth dongle
  • Predictive maintenance
  • Verified repair history
  • Insurance B2B API
  • First B2B contract
PHASE 3 M24+

Scale and expansion

  • Smart matching engine
  • AR repair guidance
  • Fleet B2B SaaS
  • EU expansion (DE, IT, ES)
  • Multilingual product

Not a slide deck. A live marketplace.

MecaZone is already shipping on iOS and Android. The AI layer is built on top of an operational marketplace with real users, real mechanics, real transactions. The data flywheel begins the day the labeling system goes live.

What is already live

  • iOS and Android applications, in production
  • End-to-end request, quote, escrow flow operational
  • Verified mechanic onboarding and identity check
  • Lift and bay rental marketplace
  • Used parts marketplace with professional sellers

The structural moment is now.

Three forces converge: foundation models reach reliability for retrieval-grounded use, the EU Right to Repair regulation forces manufacturer data access, and independent mechanics urgently need digital tools. Whoever ships the labeled-outcome dataset first locks the category for a decade.

01

Models are finally reliable enough

Modern LLMs combined with disciplined RAG and verbatim validators can deliver sourced answers in safety-critical domains. The technical risk that blocked this product in 2022 is gone.

02

EU regulation is the wind at our back

The EU Right to Repair forces manufacturers to share diagnostic data with independent mechanics on fair terms. MecaZone is structurally aligned with what the regulation imagines.

03

The marketplace is already live

We are not building a product, finding users, and adding AI later. The platform exists and operates. The AI layer is the next chapter on a foundation that is already shipping.
